-> It will be Connected by 250 meters/ 820 feet wide 10 Lanes Express Highway (with approved Rs. 2200 Crores Budget as of Feb. 2011) and Metro Rail (high speed railway)and BRTS bus system (Which is already successful in Ahmedabad City).
-> An International Airport (with Cargo Facility) is also being Developed (already approved by Airport Authority of India) for Dholera SIR.
-> Biggest Sweet Water Lake at Kalpasar Dam near Dholera SIR is planned to accumulate 25% of rain water of Gujarat.
-> Rs. 296 Crores Budget is Approved (as on Feb.2011) for proposed Ferry Service through Sea Transit between Bharuch and Bhavnagar which will substantially reduce time to reach from Surat.
-> Logistic support for the Delhi-Mumbai Dedicated Freight Corridor linked with efficient rail and road network.
-> Recently Gujarat government has acquired 75,000 acres of Land at Dholera to develop it as one of the most modern & Model Township in the World.
Dholera itself has good connectivity with National Highway (NH) 8 (Anand) and 8A (Bagodara), augmenting Bagodara -Bhavnagar, Bagodara- Surendranagar- Radhanpur links as a part of Golden Quadrilateral, the 500 km Mumbai- Ahmedabad- Vadodara Express way connects the region In order to make the region more assessable, an airport and a port are proposed in this region.
